I am interested in knwing how much prior painting experience one must have in order to take classes with you? I do watercolor but would love to learn oil. Thank you, Carmen

Hello Natasha ! Your old student wants to go back to USA, to be able to take more classes in your wonderful studio. I have tried "evertything" these two years,- even the Academy in Florence. I have learned nothing new ! So maybe I am going back for this summer classes ! And I see there is a new workshop in St. Petersburg too ! I'll write you . Love, Toril

Hi Natasha! Don't know if you will remember me. I took drawing classes with you a number of years ago. I lived in Harpers Ferry, West Virginia. I also had a Russian friend whose name was Natasha also. Maybe that will jog your memory. I looked up your site to see what you and Victor are up to these days. The site is beautiful. Love your still lifes that are shown on the site. My husband and I are living up in Canada now--on Prince Edward Island. I'm running a bed and breakfast and working on developing an artists' and writers' retreat house. We had several writers and a watercolourist from Connecticut stay here last year. I'm ashamed to say that I've not been drawing in the last couple of years, but I'm hoping to get back to it in 2008. If you are ever up this way in Canada, please let me know. I'd love to see you both again. Pat
